Sandra Brown does great sex scenes They are not graphic, they just are I feel them Dean, don t Finally, they lay down face to face on her bed, virgin until now Her hand coasted over his torso, down past his navel and into the dense hair surrounding his sex She drew her finger up the length of his penis He covered her hand with his and guided it up and down Jesus, he groaned I cannot say too much with out giving the plot away Just read it As the clock ticks down, and Valentino s threats come closer and closer to becoming a reality, Paris suddenly finds herself forced to deal with a killer who may not be a stranger at all I LOVED IT

This is another Sandra Brown winner for me As with the other SB books I have read, the plot and characters continue to be strong, fascinating and thrilling Various threads are woven together to create a plot that will have questioning everyone and second guessing everything Paris Gibson s life has changed Walking away from a past that has caused her pain and heartache she moves to Austin to do something different Being a late night radio broadcaster, she loves music and the connectio This is another Sandra Brown winner for me As with the other SB books I have read, the plot and characters continue to be strong, fascinating and thrilling Various threads are woven together to create a plot that will have questioning everyone and second guessing everything Paris Gibson s life has changed Walking away from a past that has caused her pain and heartache she moves to Austin to do something different Being a late night radio broadcaster, she loves music and the connection it creates with people But the attention of one listener crosses the line and has Paris on edge What had been an average call in, turns out to be cold and threatening Dean Malloy works within the Austin PD as a psychologist with experience as a cop He was a valuable asset and one that they used in situations like this After the alarming call in, Paris had no choice but to contact the police What she didn t expect was to see Dean again There was some dark stuff going on in this one The plot was gripping and enticing You re sucked in from the beginning and kept engaged through the very last sentence I know I really didn t give you much to go on but that s the way it has to be I can t say much because with a sexy thriller like this you need to just dive in and experience it yourself And yes there were sexy moments Again, the sex and romance is always second to the suspense That doesn t cause it to be any less alluring The deliverance of each and every kiss and touch leads to some AMAZING sex scenes The anticipation is killer Another highly recommended read

I received this book through kindle unlimited in October 2019, but just got around to reading it Honestly, I do not know why I took so long to read, but I am glad I finally got around to it.I went into this book with high expectations based on my familiarity with the author s work and she did not disappoint The story pulled me and held me captive to the end.The main characters, Paris and Dean, had a tumultuous history between them They had not seen each other in years, but when Paris received I received this book through kindle unlimited in October 2019, but just got around to reading it Honestly, I do not know why I took so long to read, but I am glad I finally got around to it.I went into this book with high expectations based on my familiarity with the author s work and she did not disappoint The story pulled me and held me captive to the end.The main characters, Paris and Dean, had a tumultuous history between them They had not seen each other in years, but when Paris received the chilling call from the villain, their lives would once again intertwine.Paris s life has changed drastically in the last seven years She was once a well renowned television reporter, but after a tragic incident touched her life, she walked away and moved to Austin Now a late night radio personality she grants her listeners their music requests and provides sage advice on their personal issues when required However, there was one listener, whose chilling call would shake up her world.Dean moved to Austin to work as a psychologist with the police department His experience has a cop made him a valuable asset and the best person to assist with this situation He never expected that he would cross paths with Paris once again.Brown weaved a tale that kept me guessing at every page turn and had me anticipating the result Riddled with a stream of suspects, I had a hard time figuring out the identity of the perpetrator Each of them had an opportunity, a motive and a proclivity towards sexual perversion There was a moment when I thought I had it figured out, but then Brown sent me in another direction Even when she narrowed it down to two suspects, I almost had whiplash trying to figure out the real villain s identity. The suspense arc formed the major part of the story while the romance was served on the side The relationship between the main characters had its share of complexities Their journey towards becoming a couple had major bumps and hurdles from the past and the present I loved the glimpses I got regarding Paris and Dean s past It gave a full understanding for the decisions they made then and now. There is not much I can say about the villainthan he is one sick puppy and for that matter all the suspects were on the nutty side with their proclivities and obsession with Paris. The investigation and the events leading up to the capture of the villain moved quickly leading to a fast paced tale. Conclusion RecommendationHello Darkness took me on a suspenseful journey, filled with twists and interesting revelations Overall, it was a great read and one I would recommend to fans of romantic suspense

I have mixed feelings with this read I think its easier to do a breakdown for this one Here it is The pros It did have a good balance of suspense The plot flowed well The cons There is cheating. than one instance that s not something I personally care for It seemed overly long and many of the details seemed redundant Way too many characters it really took away from the main characters development Quite predictable Overall, this book was just ok for me I eagerly read i I have mixed feelings with this read I think its easier to do a breakdown for this one Here it is The pros It did have a good balance of suspense The plot flowed well The cons There is cheating. than one instance that s not something I personally care for It seemed overly long and many of the details seemed redundant Way too many characters it really took away from the main characters development Quite predictable Overall, this book was just ok for me I eagerly read it from beginning to end, but I still never fell in love with any of the characters or the storyline I will still readof this writers work though
